Teach Yourself: Interactive Websites to learn Coding

It doesn't matter whether you are a computer geek or not, coding (or rather programming) is essential nowadays. Knowing the basics is a must for everybody. You work with computers everyday, so you should know what them drives them at least. Coding helps develop logical thinking, problem-solving ability and creativity.
Even for me, HTML and CSS is very helpful to make blogs.

Watching video lectures and reading theory is good, but being able to apply is important too. So, get busy and experiment with code. Practice makes man perfect!

    The most popular and favored learning platrom on the internet for programming. Even employees of big tech companies use Codeacademy to enhance their skills and progress their career.
    I feel it is really good for getting in depth of any programming language. The courses cover almost every concept in a concise manner. A live coding environment is provided to practice and complete tasks. Whats more? You can test yourself with quizzes, make portfolio-ready projects and have a fully structured, flexible and guided courseware. You can get community support too. To avail these exclusive features, you have to pay a monthly subscription.
    Codeacademy also offers additional content like OOPS, data science, theoretical computer science, Alexa skills etc. for you to dive deep once you feel you are ready and subscribed.

    Progate is very different from the others in this list. It focuses on illustrative slides followed by hands-on learning rather than the usual theory and tutorials. Just like Codeacdemy, it teaches you in a very concise manner. You can save save the slides for future reference.
    But without subscription, you can only learn the fundamentals of a particular language. The subscription covers entire courses in depth.

    My favourite and the most ideal platform for any kind of education. This not-for-profit education platform aims for free education to be available to anyone, anywhere.
    It's computer programming course is highly rich in content and although it is aimed at school students, you must to take a look at it (Especially if you are not a student anymore). Every goal begins with an interactive tutorial, after which you have to complete a given task. You can even do side projects that is evaluated by other users and you too can evaluate theirs!
    The course is primarily aimed at web development but also teaches you advanced stuff like game development and natural simulations. Do check out their computer science and animation courses.
